Roatan
Roatan is an island in the Western Caribbean. The terrain ranges from white sandy beaches to rocky shorelines, mangrove wetlands to rainforest-covered hills with lush valleys. The second-largest reef system in the world is a short swim away from the shoreline and includes world-class dive sites with some of the most diverse marine life in the Caribbean.
Roatan is famous for its pristine diving; however, there are many more activities to enjoy: snorkeling, dolphin encounters, shark encounters, kayaks, sailing charters, kite surfing, paddle boarding, fishing, glass-bottom boat, ziplining, trail riding, horseback trails, and much more. The island’s accommodations range from boutique, all-inclusive, and specialty dive hotels, allowing you to create your unique Roatan experience. The official language is Spanish, but the primary language spoken is English.
