- Miles and Loyalty Points will be earned based on total package value (excludes taxes, fees or mileage redemption).
- Customers who are included in a Package (with AAdvantage® number added for each customer) at the time of booking will earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points based on the AAdvantage® status of the customer with the highest AAdvantage® status to determine the total amount of AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points available for distribution to customers.
- To receive AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points in full, each customer must be an AAdvantage® member at the time of booking. A customer can become an AAdvantage® member for free by registering at aa.com/web/loyalty/profile/enrollment.
- If any customer is not an AAdvantage® member, the calculations above will still be performed but the non-member(s) will not receive their allocation of AAdvantage® miles or Loyalty Points and the AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points that otherwise would have been allocated to such non-member customer(s) will be invalid (i.e., they will not be deposited in or transferable to the account of the Booker or any customer).
- If an AAdvantage® member’s AAdvantage® number is not included in the Package booking, such individual will not be considered an AAdvantage® member for purposes of earning AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points.
- For example: Mileage allocation for a three-customer package totaling 9,000 AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points with only two of the three customers being AAdvantage® members, each AAdvantage® member will receive 3000 AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points, and the third customer will receive nothing.
- Customer must be an AAdvantage® member at the time of booking. Each customer’s AAdvantage® number must be entered at the time of booking. Any customer who is not an AAdvantage® member at the time of booking will not earn AAdvantage® miles or Loyalty Points for the booking.
- Certain airfares are not eligible to earn AAdvantage® miles. Basic Economy fares are not eligible.
- American Airlines Vacations reserves the right to change our mileage accrual plan at any time.
- No cap on miles earned per package.
- Only flights booked within the booking window and with a departure date within the travel window will count towards this promotion; however, any changes made to a booking (except the addition of an AAdvantage® number) made before the departure date will also count toward this promotion.
