American Airlines Vacations offers special airfares that are only available when combined with our land components. These special fares are typically lower and more flexible than published fares generally available elsewhere and are also covered by the Cancellation and Change Waiver (Pre-Departure Protection), if you choose to include it with your package.

Yes. We will provide you with many flight options for your trip. Occasionally, there may be published sale fares that are lower than the private fares and we will offer these flight options to you. Keep in mind that these published fares are non-refundable and are not covered by the Cancellation and Change Waiver. Also please note that some airfares may remain non-refundable even with the purchase of the waiver.

The Cancellation and Change Waiver will protect you in the event that your plans change. The waiver covers cancellations, for any reason, up until scheduled departure time. The waiver also covers revision fees. Restrictions may apply as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

American Airlines Vacations will mail land documents 21 days prior to departure. Air documents, if applicable, will be issued after final payment in the form of electronic tickets for most destinations. If air transportation is purchased, air and land documents may be sent separately.
